Robert Jones PT, DPT

Dr. Robert Jones, an owner of Tier 1 Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, graduated in 1990 from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from EIM Institute of Health Professions.

Robert has over 29 years of private practice experience in the field of physical therapy with an emphasis on orthopedics and sports medicine. Robert has volunteered his services by working with local high schools for the past 21 years. Other areas of interest include mission opportunities that have taken him around the world.

Robert's passion is providing the ultimate physical therapy experience by building a relationship with each individual patient while pushing them to reach their rehabilitative goals.

Robert is an active member of the following organizations: American Physical Therapy Association, Texas Physical Therapy Association and the Greater El Paso Physical Therapy Association.

APTA Section Memberships include: Private Practice Section, Aquatic Section, Orthopedic Section and the Sports Physical Therapy Section.

Kathleen Roth PT, DPT

Kathleen Roth, P, DPT

Dr. Kathleen Roth, an owner of Tier 1 Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, has been practicing physical therapy for over 35 years in El Paso. Kathleen graduated in 1984 from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University.

Kathleen has been in private practice over 30 years, with specialty areas to include orthopedics, women's health, urinary incontinence, and temporomandibular joint disorders. She served as an adjunct faculty member of the University of Texas at El Paso Physical Therapy Program for over 15 years. Kathleen has continued to serve as a Continuing Education Reviewer with the Texas Physical Therapy Association for the past 16 years. She has been a key note speaker on women's health issues and temporomandibular joint disorders at many local and state conferences.

Kathleen was the recipient of the Texas Physical Therapy Association’s two most esteemed awards. In 2015 she was awarded the Ruby Decker Award which honors the physical therapist whose primary responsibility is in direct patient care and who contributes to the growth of the profession and community. In addition, she was also recognized as the Warren C. Smyth Award winner of the same year. This award is given to a physical therapy private practitioner in recognition of such things as professional clinical and educational expertise, innovative delivery of care, participation in the association, commitment to private practice, and community service.

Kathleen is active in the community and believes strongly in volunteerism. She is a member of the Junior League of El Paso. She has taught Sunday school for over eleven years and continues to serve on the Women's Guild of her church. Kathleen has volunteered with the American Heart Association and American Cancer Association.

Kathleen is an active member of the following organizations: American Physical Therapy Association, Texas Physical Therapy Association, and the Greater El Paso Physical Therapy Association.

Wes Benson PT, MPT

WES BENSON PT, MPT

Wes earned his Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Sciences as well as his Master of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1997.

Wes has been practicing in the El Paso area for 16 years. He has taken great pride in developing a very well rounded scope of practice that includes orthopedics, sports medicine, wound care management, spinal and neurological disorders. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Wes also serves as a guest speaker at the Western Tech Physical Therapy Assistant Program as well as the University of Texas at El Paso DPT Program.

Wes loves spending time with his family and friends at the lake. His hobbies include working on and racing cars (legally of course!).

Wes is a member of the following organizations: American Physical Therapy Association, Texas Physical Therapy Association and the Greater El Paso Physical Therapy Association. APTA Section Memberships include: Private Practice Section, Wound Care Section, and the Orthopedic Section.

Amber Crocker PTA

Amber Croker, PTA

Amber Crocker started her career in physical therapy in 2001 after completing a certificate program as a physical therapy technician from PIMA Medical Institute in Albuquerque, NM. She later pursued and completed her Associates of Applied Science of Physical Therapist Assistant from Daymar College in Clarksville, TN in 2016.

Amber truly enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them achieve their therapy goals. In her free time, Amber enjoys hiking, reading, traveling with her family and volunteering around the El Paso community.

Amber is a certified kinesiotaping practitioner (CKTP) and is an active member of American Physical Therapy Association and the Texas Physical Therapy Association.

Jesus Aragon PTA

Jesus Aragon, PTA

Jesus Aragon earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2009. He pursued and earned an Associate’s degree from El Paso Community College in 2014 and an Associates of Applied Science of Physical Therapist Assistant in 2017 from Western Technical College.

Jesus strives to provide excellent patient care at a personal and professional level. He is an active member of the Army National Guard with a passion to serve his country and his community. When Jesus is not interacting with patients, his other passions include golfing, hiking/biking and playing his guitar.

Jesus is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Texas Physical Therapy Association, and the Greater El Paso Physical Therapy Association.
